Shanghai 3 Arcade PCB is the game board that goes in the Shanghai arcade machine and is suitaable for other generic arcade machines.
Shanghai 3 is a mah-jong game in which players pick from an assortment of Zodiac-themed tile patterns such as Dragon, Tiger, etc. and match them to their pairs.
The object of the game is to clear all of the tiles from the screen by matching them in pairs and reveal the elusive GOLD tile. How it works is that only tiles with one side 'open', i.e. not touching another tile, can be matched with each other.
Players must race against the clock to clear the screen and win the game, however if players do not clear the screen before time runs out, it is game over!
In two-Player mode, the game can be played either competitively or co-operatively. In competitive mode, the first player to find the gold tile in each round wins. In co-operative mode, the game is played exactly like in one-Player mode except that there are two pointers on the screen.
